With 5% ABV and unique flavors like Cherry-Lime and Watermelon-Mint, Mighty Swell has become the go-to beverage for consumers who value freshness, authenticity, and a carefree lifestyle.

About this project

Mighty Swell partnered with The Code Marketing with an exciting challenge: to create an integrated campaign strategy that would celebrate its new can redesign, strengthen its summer presence, and make the Hard Seltzer Day a true island-wide celebration.

Beyond driving awareness, the goal was to build an emotional and aspirational narrative that would connect the brand with a new generation of consumers who value authenticity, fun, and experience over convention.

We designed a 360° marketing strategy that combined branding, digital, influencer marketing, and experiential activations, all under a cohesive and vibrant creative direction.

Each campaign was developed to highlight a different brand moment while reinforcing Mighty Swell’s energy, freshness, and lifestyle-driven identity.

Campaign: “Nuevo Look, Mismo Sabor”

The first step was to showcase the brand’s refreshed visual identity, while maintaining its signature tone of confidence and spontaneity.

We launched a multi-channel campaign across Meta Ads, YouTube, and OOH, presenting the redesign as a bold evolution that celebrates the same taste everyone loves now with a modern, elevated look.

Campaign: “Pásala Swell Este Verano”

For the summer season, we crafted a campaign that captured the essence of sunshine, fun, and togetherness.

Under the concept “Pásala Swell Este Verano”, we positioned the brand as the official drink of Puerto Rican summer, introducing the new Tropic line, inspired by the colors and flavors of the Caribbean.

The campaign included:

Influencer marketing with customized PR kits and native content creation.

In-store activations and sampling with exclusive promotions.

Digital campaigns and OOH placements to amplify awareness.

• A branded experiential event at Sector Sixty6, where influencers and content creators enjoyed a full-day immersive experience inspired by the Tropic universe.

The result was a vibrant and aspirational campaign that strengthened the brand’s identity as the ultimate symbol of summer, freshness, and fun.

Campaign: “National Swell Weekend” – Hard Seltzer Day

To celebrate Hard Seltzer Day, we developed the “National Swell Weekend”, a weekend-long celebration designed to make Mighty Swell the star of the summer.

The campaign featured simultaneous activations across multiple locations on the island, including beach venues, bars, and retail partners, driving brand visibility and engagement.

The celebration concluded with a private influencer event at Ocean Club, where media partners, influencers, and brand ambassadors enjoyed a full day of exclusive experiences combining lifestyle, flavor, and brand storytelling in a way that brought the Mighty Swell world to life.

Results

Each phase of the campaign contributed to building an emotionally connected community, increasing brand awareness, and reinforcing Mighty Swell’s position as a leading hard seltzer in Puerto Rico. Through bold creative storytelling and a seamless integration of digital and experiential marketing, Mighty Swell not only captured attention it created a movement of freshness, flavor, and fun that lives beyond the can.
